We are a dance studio that specialises in Ballroom, Latin American, Line Dance, Dance Fitness, Contemporary Dance and Group Dance classes.
Our syllabus is based on SADTA (South African Dance Teachers Association), SADF (South African Dance Foundation) and WDM (World Dance Masters) Syllabus.
Why is it good to dance?
Dance not only instills grace, but it also helps you age gracefully. According to a study in The New England Journal of Medicine, dancing may boost your memory and prevent you from developing dementia as you get older. Science reveals that aerobic exercise can reverse volume loss in the hippocampus, the part of the brain that controls memory. The hippocampus naturally shrinks during late adulthood, which often leads to impaired memory and sometimes dementia.
Our studio is 10 years old and we are celebrating on the 5 October 2019.
Learn with us what its like to dance with a partner and whisk your around the floor like a feather. Our syllabus is based on the International style of Ballroom and can be used for social or competitive dancing.
